LEVER’s customer is a leading UK distributor of video games providing state-of-the-art distribution for thousands of products.
Wi-Fi is the sole network connection, not just for Warehouse employees but for all voice communications and telephony on site.
With intermittent but persistent voice call problems across the premises, the customer initially approached LEVER for advanced training in Wi-Fi engineering.

Successful Warehousing Network, Security & Fire Multi-Site Rollout

Redway Networks deployed a Cambium WiFi6 solution with CnPilot internal and external access points.  Redway’s engineer recommended  increasing the amount of access points to improve WiFi capacity, signal strength and data throughput from anywhere in the warehouse.

The network, including guest WiFi, can be managed remotely through Cambium’s cloud dashboard which has given Reedbut complete network visibility and enabled warehouse activities to be monitored in real-time.

Since installing Cambium, Reedbut has seen an improvement in warehouse productivity and efficiency which has enhanced distribution and customer service.  

A robust Cambium solution with many antenna options is ensuring the warehouse WiFi signal was strongest where needed.

Redway Network’s designed Cambium solution is delivering fast, reliable coverage which has streamlined warehouse operations.

External APs deliver a continuous WiFi signal which has enabled Reedbut to load its lorries outside using its wireless scanning equipment which has saved considerable time. 

Reedbut’s management team has complete visibility of the network through a centralised dashboard with real-time warehouse activity reporting. 

Redway Networks delivered a great project and Reedbut now has better WiFi reliability, connectivity, speed and coverage in all its warehouses.

All the hardware was pre-staged and tested by Redway’s engineers to allow for a seamless migration with no impact to Reedbut’s business. 

Wi-Fi for the most demanding application – Voice Telephony

With an existing Meraki Wi-Fi network that was due for refresh, and which had under-performed when supporting Voice over Wi-Fi across their site, the customer looked to LEVER for industry-leading training and advice in Wi-Fi network engineering for its IT team.

Recognising the complexity of diagnosing intermittent Wi-Fi problems, especially for the most demanding application – Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWLAN), the customer commissioned LEVER to perform a Wi-Fi Health Check and Diagnosis survey.

Whilst voice over Wi-Fi is an unforgiving application, the customer’s network support team are using the Wi-Fi engineering skills acquired from LEVER to maintain and improve services using advanced tools.

The close partnership with LEVER has developed further to include collaboration on a new cutting-edge Wi-Fi performance monitoring system for the client.
